INTERVIEW
  1. Previous job industry/work

In my previous job, I was involved in the chat commerce business at an IT venture company. We provided services that combined chatbots and marketing, and I was primarily involved in supporting new customer acquisition and customer success for companies in the DtoC field. I also gained experience in team management. Being able to take on a leadership role in a rapidly growing startup was an extremely valuable experience in my career. Through this work, I was able to hone my speed in producing results in a short period of time, my flexibility in adapting to change, and my ability to get team members involved.

  2. Why did you decide to join GLOBIS?

I decided to join GLOBIS because I strongly identified with their value of "believing in people's potential" and felt I would be involved in creating products that support human resource development in Japan. At my previous job, I realized that the growth of "people" is essential for business growth, and my interest in human resource development grew. It was during this time that I came across GLOBIS. I was fascinated by the way they deliver value to society through "education x technology" and by the way their employees are seriously committed to human resource development, and I wanted to take on the challenge of this environment myself. Furthermore, during my interview at GLOBIS, I was impressed by their attitude of not just engaging in formal exchanges but also listening deeply to my values and thoughts, which led me to decide to join the company.

  3. Gap felt before and after joining GLOBIS

One thing that struck me as extremely positive after joining the company was the deeply rooted culture of prioritizing "personal health," "family," and "work." At first, I was surprised by these values, as hard work was the norm in my previous job, but after actually working here, I realized that they are truly realized as Organization. I personally deeply agree with the idea that it is precisely because a foundation such as health and family is in place that one can put one's all into one's work. There is also an atmosphere of mutual support among team members, and I feel that there is an environment where one can properly express one's opinions and have them accepted. I felt that the healthy relationships between individuals and Organization are a unique attraction of GLOBIS.

  4. What is your current job?

I am currently in charge of sales and customer success for a new business called "GLOPLA LMS," a learning management system for corporations. I listen to the challenges of human resource development linked to the management strategies of client companies, propose solutions, and support them in promoting utilization after implementation. As many of our clients are enterprise-scale companies, my work requires me to adjust the axis of proposals to suit the interests and goals of various stakeholders. I feel a sense of fulfillment every day in my work, not just in providing tools, but in accompanying companies in the future of human resource development.

  5. What I want to achieve in my future career

Going forward, I would like to continue pursuing a career that allows me to contribute to the growth of people and Organization by continuing to focus on "expanding people's potential." In particular, I feel that the reason companies are hesitant to invest in human resource development is because the effects are difficult to see. This is why I want to use the power of technology to "visualize" the effects of development, and challenge myself to create a product that allows companies to invest in people with confidence. I would like to work in the field of education and technology, making a positive impact on the learning and growth of society as a whole.

  6. Episodes that felt "GLOBIS-like"

What I felt was typical of GLOBIS was the "culture that supports challenges" and "the attitude of tackling issues as a team." When you take on a new challenge or set a high goal, the people around you will give you a positive push. It is precisely because of this environment that you naturally feel motivated to challenge your own limits. Also, when faced with a problem, there is a deep-rooted attitude of members sharing their opinions and knowledge and working together as a team to solve it. Team OKRs are also decided together through dialogue, creating an atmosphere where each individual can take on the task as their own responsibility. I feel that behind this culture lies the GLOBIS philosophy of "believing in people's potential."
