  1. Previous job industry/work

    GLOBIS is my fourth company, and after joining my previous carrier as a sales representative, I have been engaged in a wide range of work including marketing, service planning, Organization personnel, sales planning, product manager, and technology planning.
    Rather than regular work, I often participate in the launch of new fields as the company expands its business, and I am responsible for business strategy, business planning, project management such as PMI and BPR, and before joining GLOBIS, I worked in the technology strategy department for IoT/ I was in charge of new business development in the AI field, technology strategy, and management of invested startups.
    In addition, I also worked as a project management (PMP) lecturer at our company's university and worked on an in-house startup.

  2. Why did you decide to join GLOBIS?

    In my previous job, I had a variety of experiences as the company grew from a few thousand people to tens of thousands of people, but I felt that the speed of growth was slowing down, so I was looking for an opportunity to step up.About GLOBIS To be honest, when I was being introduced to IT and DX projects by agents, the fact that the school was a business graduate school was unique and caught my attention.
    During the interview, I learned about the new businesses GLOBIS is promoting, and I realized that I could not only see the appeal of the business, but also the winning ways and weak points that GLOBIS has, and that I could make a contribution by leveraging my career in new business development and Organization human resources. What I thought about, and above all, when I talked to people during the selection process, I learned that GLOBIS values the following: 1. Personal, 2. Family, 3. Work, and eliminating managerialism based on rules and regulations. I decided to join the company because I sympathized with the company's work style and values, and felt that I could further grow through my work.

  3. Gap felt before and after joining GLOBIS

    Companies of all industries and sizes actively promote the use of external human resources for new businesses.  Because I believed that success or failure would depend on the level of commitment of the president and the executives in charge, before joining the company, I had no idea how the project would be handled within GLOBIS, which is not listed on the stock market. But when I actually joined the company, I realized that the project was still in the process of being established and integrated with existing businesses, but it was a project that was directly under the president's control. There were many instances where the level of commitment within the company was high and having strong backup would have been extremely helpful.
    Additionally, it was unclear whether the structured learning of a business graduate school and tackling the highly uncertain issues of a new business could coexist, and at first there was a tendency to hold discussions until everyone understood and agreed. However, I think that the fact that the company gradually changed its approach to business from focusing on personal satisfaction to prioritizing providing value to customers can be said to be a sign of a positive culture that accepts feedback and strives to become better.

  4. What is your current job?

    I am the product manager for LXP (Learning Experience Platform) called GLOPLA, a new business in the digital platform division. My roles include formulating product strategies, managing development members as a Dev team leader, setting development targets and determining development priorities as a product owner in Scrum development, and working with the Bizdev team as a product manager to set verification targets and prioritize verification. Responsible for order judgment and customer verification.
    Additionally, as a former human resources product manager, I am working on the Organization development of the digital platform department, with the idea that a business is made by a team and a team is made by people, so I aim to bring out the potential of the members involved and create an autonomous, self-propelled engineering Organization is.

  5. What I want to achieve in my future career

    First of all, in order to realize the mission of GLOPLA, which is the business I am responsible for, ``Release the potential of people and increase the number of people who work enthusiastically'', I will realize business growth while creating an environment and culture where the members involved can continue to work and grow while having fun. I'm thinking of doing
    In addition, through my experience in various occupations and business phases, I have cultivated the aspiration of ``unleashing the potential of people and society through the power of technology,'' but I will continue to push myself out of my comfort zone for the sake of personal growth. By investing resources in an environment where we can interact with members with a wide variety of orientations, we will deepen our knowledge, expand our insights, realize our aspirations, increase the speed and quality of our actions and decision-making, and create new value for the world. I would like to continue doing so.

  6. Episodes that felt "GLOBIS-like"

    Most of the members of the team are new to a new business, so they are diligent and eager to absorb case studies and methods from books and media But they do take them with a grain of salt, they discuss and act on what we can do to become better, considering the business situation and the team's resources and capabilities. This is a characteristic of GLOBIS, where practical learning is a core competency.
    In addition, since the Digital Platform Division has many mature members, they actively propose solutions that suit Organization and business situation, and as Organization that practices "heterogeneous utility", we act autonomously within GLOBIS. Various changes are being made by members.

Message for those who are thinking about job change to GLOBIS

GLOBIS's Digital Platform Division is producing product development in-house as an engineer Organization, and after monetizing GLOBIS Manabihoudai in the few years the division was launched, it has been taking on challenges such as "GLOBIS Unlimited", as a global service, and " the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University nano-MBA", as a new area. GLOBIS is a very vigorous Organization.
