INTERVIEW
  1. Previous job industry/work

Previously, I worked as a team leader for interpreter assignments at an international Meeting management company. We assign professional interpreters who can handle a variety of languages to international Meeting and internal Meeting, and provide interpreting services between clients and interpreters. The interpreter assignment team consisted of 6 people, and they divided a large number of projects within the team and made accurate and speedy assignments. For that reason, what I felt was necessary as a team leader was to ensure that the team had psychological safety, possessed information fairly, and that while valuing individuality, there was no level difference in terms of experience. Therefore, I want to experience the fun of nurturing and help more people grow! I came to be conscious of the occupation called personnel affairs.

  2. Why did you decide to join GLOBIS?

The timing when I wanted to change jobs with inexperienced HR was before I turned 40. I have experienced changing jobs three times, but I think it was a big challenge. I wanted to support the growth of many people in human Development & Culture, so I worked in GLOBIS of industries. I found out I still vividly remember how excited I was to hear this word, which I had never heard of in the HR work that I knew. What kind of company is GLOBIS? However, I was moved by the message of valuing "people" and would like to meet the people who work at GLOBIS! I want to talk! I felt a strong attraction and decided to change jobs.

  3. Gap felt before and after joining GLOBIS

I had the opportunity to interview and talk with many people before joining the company, so there was no big gap. Every time I passed the interview, I was looking forward to what kind of person I could talk to next. Therefore, I think my expectations for GLOBIS before joining the company were very high. Based on my past experience, I assumed that I would be disappointed after 3 months of joining the company, but now that 3 years have passed, I still tell my family that I'm glad I changed jobs. However, because I have a long working experience in the past, I was a little confused about the work style of Individual Discretion and Responsibility at first. The free dress and flat relationship with my boss was very open, but on the other hand, I was worried about whether I was able to output without being spoiled by freedom. I still cherish this feeling, and it leads to my main business.

  4. What is your current job?

I belong to the Human Resources/ Development & Culture Team of the Business Administration Headquarters. Our team's mission is to foster a "GLOBIS like Organization culture" GLOBIS Create and innovate society, and to "expand the possibilities and encourage self-actualization" of "unique and diverse staff". As an organizer who builds mechanisms and places, it exists as a good adviser who can stop by when it is difficult. We have such a mission. Among them, I am in charge of everything from the orientation for new members who join the company every month to the first-year training. Especially for the first three months after joining the company, we provide Onboarding support at the necessary timing. Of course, we also value people other than newcomers, so we manage in-house events across departments and bases. Every time I see a satisfied expression in such a place, I feel happy, and my desire to enjoy GLOBIS life even more becomes stronger.

  5. What I want to achieve in my future career

I was inexperienced and was given the opportunity to work in HR for the first time at GLOBIS. I think I was one of the people who joined GLOBIS because of the phrase "believe in possibilities." After joining the company for three years, I learned the joy of Onboarding through various experiences. It's a really happy moment to see newcomers who joined the company with nervousness and anxiety are doing splendidly on the front lines. I would like to continue to provide safe Onboarding so that my colleagues who have joined the company by fate can feel that it is a company that can take on new challenges positively. I don't have a specific career goal, but I'd like to continue working happily at GLOBIS so that my happiness is transmitted to those around me and they feel that they belong to a company where attractive people and Organization contribute to society.

  6. Episodes that felt "GLOBIS-like"

In a diverse environment, there is a global atmosphere, but in fact it is passionate, and you can reach out a lot of hands to those who are in trouble. I am sometimes surprised to receive follow-up from the head of another department, regardless of my company history. That is typical of GLOBIS.  Because they are very aware of their own ball, people naturally gather to say, "I'll help you then!" However, because of the culture of thinking and acting on your own, it is important to clearly convey your intentions. There are many people who will discuss their opinions thoroughly without being denied, and think together for the sake of the other person. At first, I was surprised at how they exchanged opinions and shared information via company-wide e-mail, but I think that openness and fairness is also characteristic of GLOBIS. It seems that I will never get tired of the logical and unique GLOBIS.
