In my previous job, I Working in the office for a retail company for about 9 years after graduating. After engaging in store operations at a directly managed store, I was in charge of recruiting new graduates at the head office. In store Working in the office, I experienced 6 stores in Kanagawa Prefecture, and I was also involved in the launch of new stores and the planning and implementation of remodeled stores. I also worked as a store manager at three of the stores, managing sales, recruiting and training employees, and improving store operations. We hire more than 100 new graduates a year, and while communicating the company's vision to students, I formulated and implemented a hiring plan, and followed up from the unofficial offer to joining the company.

From my experience at my previous job, I came to think that I would like to do a job that focuses more on the growth of people. This is because the most important thing for me in my Working in the office at the store and in the hiring process was to think about the growth of the employees I worked with, prospective employees, and new employees. For that reason, I decided to change careers into the education industry.
The deciding factors for joining GLOBIS were two things: "I sympathized with the company's vision" and "The employees take pride in their work." In my work, I want to cherish the purpose of "why am I doing this?" For this reason, when I was looking to change jobs, I focused on whether or not I could sympathize with the company's underlying vision. GLOBIS has a guideline called the "the GLOBIS Way" that summarizes the significance of GLOBIS' existence and the values it cherishes. I thought that if I got lost while working, I could always return to it.
Also, I think that working with people who take pride in their work is one of the reasons for raising my motivation, and this was also a deciding factor in joining the company. Through the selection process, I met people who were passionate about working for this company, and my desire to join the company increased even more. I got the impression that the company listened to what I had to say with sincerity and respected the individual, and I thought that I could work in my own way here.

Although I had the impression that many of the people were passionate about their work, I was worried that many of the people who work there would be cool and smart before joining the company, as this is an educational institution that produces leaders who will change society. bottom. However, everyone communicated warmly and heartily, and the anxiety disappeared immediately.
I thought that such exchanges would naturally occur because they carefully consider how the other person will receive the content they send and preemptively convey missing information. Also, it may be a matter of course to express gratitude and admiration for each other's work, but I think it's wonderful that such a culture has taken root.
I was also grateful for the solid support I received after joining the company. Since I was hired mid-career, I thought that I had to become an immediate force as soon as possible, but my boss and seniors taught me various things through one-on-one, and I was able to start working with peace of mind.

Currently, the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University mainly provides support for the formation of a community for current students, and through event planning and management, provides three opportunities for educational philosophy (Ability Development, building of human networks, and fostering aspirations). We support life. .
I am mainly in charge of two tasks. The first is to provide students who are planning to enroll in graduate school with the information they need before enrollment. In addition to administrative matters related to course registration and admission procedures, we also plan and manage events such as social gatherings as an opportunity to create connections with fellow students. The second is the planning and management of academic events in which current students participate. At GLOBIS, we value not only Ability Development, but also the cultivation of aspirations and human networks, so we believe that academic events while at school are important opportunities for you to deepen your own learning. It is also my job to properly convey the purpose and content of academic events and involve students so that many people can participate.
Although I changed jobs from a different industry, there are things that are similar to my previous job, and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to make use of my experience.

First of all, we aim to be able to plan and operate current academic events and services without delay, but in the future, we would like to grasp the current situation of current students and graduates, think about plans on our own, and implement them. When I talk with the students, I see how they deepen their learning while hesitating every day. the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University 's mission is to produce "Visionary Leaders Who Create and Innovate Societies" who will become leaders in Japan and the world, and to contribute to the growth of society as a whole. I would like to contribute even more to creating opportunities for graduate students to deepen their aspirations and further increase their motivation to learn. If the measures I planned were to trigger a change in someone's behavior, I wouldn't be happier.

I think that being able to work cooperatively as a team is what makes GLOBIS unique. When there is something I don't understand, when I send a message using an in-house tool, even if I am not listed as an addressee, they often contact me and provide support. I can work without worrying about whether I should ask something like this, and I feel like I want to be able to support others and actively share information.
I also thought that many people liked it. Many people are naturally able to respect the values and positions of others and want to be actively involved. Even within the company, there are frequent exchanges across departments, and there are of course opportunities to talk about work, but there are also opportunities to connect with common hobbies, etc., and there are new discoveries every day. In the year I joined the company, I was able to raise my hand as a secretary of the company exchange meeting held at the end of the year, and I was able to create many connections beyond departments.
