INTERVIEW
  1. Previous job industry/work

In my previous job, I worked for a recruitment advertising agency.
I was in charge of about 1,200 clients as sales clerical work, and my main tasks were to check the status of recruitment, make various adjustments, identify clients, create job advertisements, and work related to invoices.
It was an environment where I could flexibly do what I was interested in and what I wanted to do at a venture company of about 50 people, regardless of my job type. I was in charge of a wide range of tasks such as operating the recruitment page and managing two to three people as a team leader.
While working on a variety of tasks at the same time, I realized that the most rewarding job would be to serve as a bridge between sales Organization clients and support them in their "problems". I came to think that I wanted to do a job that would support me, and I became conscious of changing jobs.

  2. Why did you decide to join GLOBIS?

The value that I want to provide to the company and the value that GLOBIS wants to provide to society are connected in some way, and I believe that through my work at GLOBIS, I can create more of the value that I want to provide.
In order to strengthen Organization, we believe that it is important to eliminate as much as possible the situation where it cannot run without someone.
In order to create such a Organization, it is useful for individuals to improve their skills and to output the skills they have acquired to others. I want to be a person who can strengthen Organization and even the company to which I belong, while improving each other as a team, rather than working silently in the company.
GLOBIS aims to change people, change Organization, GLOBIS make Japan a better Organization. After thinking about it, I decided to join the company.

  3. Gap felt before and after joining GLOBIS

The way I switched between work and private life was a gap in a good way.
In my case, GLOBIS had 4 recruitment interviews and 1 offer interview, and I had the impression that the company must be very thorough to have 5 interviews for mid-career hires. In fact, the interviewer was frank and easy to talk to, but I felt nervous because of how he spoke and how he responded. Even after joining the company, I feel that everyone is on their way to work, such as following each other carefully and carefully while proceeding with each task without delay during work.
However, I was surprised at first when I saw that Working in the office flextime, finishing at around 4:00 pm, going to the gym, and going to the beauty salon in the morning before they started working again.
At GLOBIS, the idea of "Individual Discretion and Responsibility" is pervasive, and we have a culture that respects the actions and decision-making of each employee. increase.

  4. What is your current job?

I belong to GLOBIS Digital Platform (GDP), and I am in charge of operations.
Specifically, I handle inquiries from corporate personnel using GDP's services and from within the company, as well as work related to invoices.
Inquiries from outside the company often involve unclear points in using the system or requests for responses to parts that cannot be operated by the client side, so speed, clarity and politeness are important. Since most of the communication will be via e-mail, please be aware of the amount of text that is easy to read, the explanation that will not be misunderstood, and whether there is any supplementary information that should be communicated in advance. We are.
If you get the impression that our response when you have a problem is bad, you will find it difficult to use, and there is a risk that you will lose customers. .

  5. What I want to achieve in my future career

I would like to increase opportunities for “transmitting” and “receiving” information that I want to make known to many people within the company.
I think one of the good things about GLOBIS is that each product is being developed on a daily basis in order to face customers and make improvements in line with their opinions and requests.
As a result, all communications are sent out to employees on a daily basis, including information informing them of changes. However, in daily work, there are many cases where catch-up is overlooked or where to check when you want to reconfirm is ambiguous. Furthermore, sharing information across departments increases the chances of getting lost as to where to go to get information.
Therefore, we will provide information that many people want to see by providing a method and place where it is easy for many people to catch up. I would like to help reduce the inefficient work of searching.

  6. Episodes that felt "GLOBIS-like"

I feel that the attitude of taking action without being told is typical of GLOBIS.
This is what happened when I participated in Retreat (employee training for two days and one night) held in the department. The content of the first day Team Building with about 6 people per team, divided into 15 groups. Each team freely decided on a theme and plan and toured the area.
As soon as the team members were announced, a group chat was created in the blink of an eye, the schedule of the meeting was decided, and each team was able to offer their opinions for planning.
The most surprising thing was that the Setouchi International Art Festival was being held at the venue of Retreat, so it was possible to visit several islands by ferry. created and shared a diagram summarizing the characteristics and routes of each island in the general chat. "Will you go that far?!" I took off my hat. I think that there are many people at GLOBIS who are willing to work while enjoying both work and non-work.
