INTERVIEW
  1. Previous job industry/work

In my previous job at an apparel-related trading company, I was mainly in charge of proposal sales of clothing fabrics to designers and OEM. At the same time, as a new team, we exhibited at domestic and overseas exhibitions and engaged in new development of industries other than apparel from scratch.

  2. Why did you decide to join GLOBIS?

I want to expand my possibilities by learning and changing myself. GLOBIS is the only company that came up with the keyword "learning" from a completely different industry.
After graduating from university, I had only experience in sales and sales.
Even though I was in a different industry and inexperienced, everyone I met during the selection process created a place where I could relax and honestly show who I really am.
He asked me questions that drew out my passion for the textile industry and future challenges. Let's become a business person who can contribute to expanding people's possibilities by realizing this. I decided at that time and decided to join the company.

  3. Gap felt before and after joining GLOBIS

In my previous job, I dealt with tangible products, so there were many people who were interested in "things," but at GLOBIS, there are a lot of people who are interested in "people." It's not clear if it's due to the service we handle, but that's the gap I felt.
Thanks to this gap, GLOBIS, for example, holds company-wide events several times a year.
Just like the bosses I met during the interview process mentioned above, I think that there is a period of time when everyone joins the company because they naturally ask questions to get to know the person in front of them. , That time was extremely short, and I remember feeling that there were many people who liked people.
Also, since it is an educational industry, isn't it hard and disciplined? I also imagined that, for example, the department I was in at the time allowed remote work long before COVID-19. It's the same with clothes, but since I joined the company, I've been able to come into contact with the employees' motto of "Individual Discretion and Responsibility" in various ways.

  4. What is your current job?

When I joined the company, I was in charge of sales administration for training delivery in GLOBIS Corporate Education, but when I applied for a transfer within the company, I wanted to transfer to a new team in the digital department.
At the time of the transfer in 2020, the team was small with a dozen members, so I was wearing various hats such as operations, sales, marketing, etc., but now I am working as a customer success.
Our team develops and sells the learning management system LMS (learning management system), and I will accompany the customers who have introduced the system to their success so that they can use the system comfortably and take on various challenges. have a role to play. Rarely in the company, all functions from development to sales, marketing, and operations exist in one team, so we can open up a new world of LMS while boarding one ship.

  5. What I want to achieve in my future career

In the near future, I would like to create a mechanism that allows people in human resources and everyone who plans and manages training to enjoy designing learning through LMS. In addition, the learners can learn while having fun and carve out their own careers. I would like to go beyond the framework of a system, get close to working people, and create a worldview together with users that is indispensable.
In the historical textile industry where I worked, the craftsmanship and craftsmanship are valued, and I feel that this is a treasure precisely because it has supported Japanese industry for so long. On the other hand, the treasure resides in the craftsman and depends on the lore. I also felt that there was a distance from digital learning.
This kind of legacy "Japanese manufacturing" can also be learned in LMS, and it can be updated according to the times while leaving it for future generations. In this way, I would like to change the way people and Organization learn. Our team's mission is to "unlock people's potential and increase the number of people who work actively". I will do my best to achieve it.

  6. Episodes that felt "GLOBIS-like"

Dialogue with yourself will increase! Because "individual" is emphasized, what do you want to do? Because you will be asked.
what do you want to accomplish? What do you want to do as a team? How can we contribute as Organization? How do you want to change the world?
There are many situations where we have to answer difficult questions, but the members always listen to and face their own opinions.
Also, in the process of searching for answers, he uses the opportunity of 1on1 with members and superiors to actively support him in facing his own questions while hitting the wall.
I have experience in two departments, and I feel that this culture exists in both departments, so I can say that it is truly GLOBIS.
